You will attend to carpentry repairs and PPM duties, you will have the skills and expertise to be able to identify the problem(s) and find and fix issues within the NHS and Trust owned or run properties in the surrounding area.
You will have the ability to carry out varied carpentry duties to a competent standard.
You will be working in a team, and have the ability to undertake standalone tasks, with an emphasis on a quality finish, to meet with our customers high expectations.
You will conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards Codes of Practice, safe systems of work and recognised industry standards to minimise damage to the fabric of the property and to create minimal disruptions to our patients and visitors.

Deliver a cost-effective repair solution in a timely and efficient manner

Have a focus on general building, but having experience in carpentry and locks trades would be preferable also

For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience.
NVQ / City & Guilds / or equivalent qualification in Brickwork.
Knowledge of this role’s industry best practice to an intermediate/ advanced level and experienced in how to use this knowledge to ensure high standards and safe practices.
This role will require working in customer homes, so a friendly and professional attitude is needed.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe practices
Experience of working in social housing
Please note due to health and safety reasons, all operatives wear RPE and so we operate under a clean-shaven policy.
A full UK driving license.
As a Plumber at Grand Sail Ltd, you’ll be tasked with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure the functionality and safety of our projects. From laying pipes to troubleshooting leaks, your expertise in plumbing techniques will be essential in delivering high-quality construction work.
You’ll work closely with our team to coordinate plumbing installations with other aspects of the project, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with building codes.
We’re looking for candidates with a valid plumbing license, hands-on experience in plumbing installation and repair, and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.

For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience.
Undertake repair/renewal roofing works.
Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents, and line manager.
Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements
Remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of skill area.
Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required.
Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA.
